1. do you have favorite locations to shoot?

I do! And I am happy to make suggestions depending on the vibe you're looking for. I am lucky to live in the most beautiful location and love to share my favorite places with clients. Whether it be meeting at the bay, strolling down Main Street in Chatham or taking a walk at the Sandwich Boardwalk to name a few, Cape Cod makes the prettiest backdrop and I have a list to share if needed.

2. what's the best time of day to shoot?

Cape Cod sunsets can't be beat. The hour before sunset is my favorite lighting for photos. Are you more of a morning person? Don't let a sunrise session intimidate you, it's a perfect start to any day.

3. what if it rains?

I'm checking the weather constantly. If rain or heavy winds are predicted I will reach out with options for you. We could work around the weather and change the time of day we shoot, move to a more protected location or change the day entirely. This decision is typically made as close your session as possible since Cape weather can change quickly. I do not book separate rain dates as I have such a high demand for sessions in-season. If I need to rearrange clients to best accommodate, I will!

4. how many photos will i receive?

That depends on the package you choose! Typically for 30 minute mini sessions you'll receive 35+ edited photos, and for 60 minute sessions you'll receive a minimum of 65. Weddings range from 75-100 photos per hour coverage.

5. What is your turnaround time?

For regular sessions; up to 3 weeks. For weddings; 8 weeks

6. we're so awkward, do you have any advice?

I can't tell you how often I hear this! I will guide you through your entire session. If a prompt feels funny, it's probably to make you laugh, and that's the shot I'm looking for. This is your chance to be giddy, affectionate, laugh with (or at) each other, and just have fun!

8. do you have outfit suggestions?

Of course! I always suggest soft neutrals. Coordinate colors without being too matchy-matchy. Earth tones and pastels photograph nicely. Add texture or a subtle print or floral to break things up. I am happy to send an inspo board if needed.
